…don’t tell me that being a teacher is the hardest job. I already know. Say something valuable instead like maybe… “thank you”.

Why am I bringing this up? Because yesterday I was reading an article and enjoying a beer – minding my own business, when some dude asked me if I was studying to be a teacher.

I responded that I was already a teacher and was reading a comparative study.

So then he said: “Being a teacher is the hardest job”. (Duh.)

I gave him the constipated look my students give me when they have no idea what I’m talking about.

He left.

Just say thank you.
